Departure

Check Out Checklist:

• Wash/dry used bedding & towels

• Remake any used beds

• Remove any perishables from fridge

• Make sure kitchen security camera lens is on (slide white cover to the side, you'll see a blue light)

• Do a quick sweep of the floors

• Remove all trash (either take home or bring to a Northumberland Waste/Recycling Disposal Center)

• Unplug faux fireplace (if used) 

• Lock all window latches (all should point down)

• Lock kitchen/porch door and deck doors

• Turn off all lights except upstairs bathroom and porch light

• Arm security system (see below)

• Lock front door (see below)

Arming the Security System: To set the alarm, type in the Security System Pin, then select the sheild with the running man (top right).  This will give you about one minute to walk out the front door and click it shut.  Make sure you also lock the front door before you go!

Locking the Front Door:  To lock the front door, make sure it clicks shut, then press the button with the lock symbol.  You should hear the locking mechanism engage.
