Departure Checklist

• Return kayaks/canoes/paddleboards to the rack and all lifejackets to the shed

• Wash/dry used bedding & towels and remake any used beds

• Turn on all security cameras
  1. Kitchen/Above Fridge (slide white cover to the side, you'll see a blue light)
  2. Laundry Room (slide white cover to the side, you'll see a blue light...make sure it is pointing toward the driveway)
  3. Deck (put lightswitch in "up" position- lightswitch can be found under the thermometer & metal Riverside Den sign in the living room)

• Do a quick sweep/vacuum of the floors

• Remove any perishables from fridge and remove all trash (either take home or bring to a Northumberland Waste/Recycling Disposal Center)

• Unplug faux fireplace (if used) 

• Lock kitchen/porch door and deck doors  (push handle up first, then the door should allow you to bolt it!) and lock all window latches (all should point down)

• Arm security system and lock front door (see below)
  
  
  

Arming the Security System: To set the alarm, type in the Security System Pin, then select the sheild with the running man (top right).  This will give you about one minute to walk out the front door and click it shut.  Make sure you also lock the front door before you go!

Locking the Front Door:  To lock the front door, make sure it clicks shut, then press the button with the lock symbol.  You should hear the locking mechanism engage.
